Tom Dwan is no longer a Full Tilt Poker player

17 December 2025

It's official: Tom "durrrr" Dwan is no longer a Full Tilt Poker player. The north-american is no longer featured in The Professionals page, at FTP's website.

According to a representative from the online poker room, in a statement given to the PokerListings website, "Full Tilt Poker and Tom Dwan have agreed to part ways following the recent expiration of Dwan's contract".

Since Black Friday happened, Dwan has spent most of his time in Macau; the poker pro is increasingly distant from online poker.

The ex-Professional didn't show himself available for promotional events, unlike Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Gus Hansen. He didn't participate in the Full Tilt Poker Galway Festival and he even showed up 4 hours late for a challenge between The Professionals and Team PokerStars Pro, during the EPT London.

Even the Durrrr Challenge has been pretty much dead - despite the constant promisses of restarting the Daniel Cates vs Dwan match, no sessions have been played. All this despite some penalizations have been agreed upon to the player who shows himself unavailable.

In the words of a Full Tilt Poker representative, "To have one of the most respected names in poker on our team has been a great pleasure. We will continue to watch Tom at the tables and wish him every success in the future."
