Full Tilt Poker regular players can now benefit from the Black Card rewards. The program was extinguished upon the purchase of Full Tilt Poker by PokerStars; it returns today, July 1, to reward the more regular players of the room.
In order to reach the Black Card level, the highest of the Edge program, you have to get an average of 500 Full Tilt Points for 100 continuous days. What do you get for being a Black Card?
First, you have to accept being part of the Edge Monthly Classifications (on the menu Edge - Opt In to Leaderboards). At these TLB the 25 best players from each level will be awarded a prize, and these players won't lose their Black Card status within the next 30 days.
As a Black Card player you can also convert your points directly at the "ratio of $1 for every 200 Full Tilt Points, with the option of manual or automatic conversion on each payday of the Edge Rewards".
Being a Black Card player you still keep the Diamond statute advantages, and can thus continue to receive "the Edge Rewards of weekly cash payments at the rate of $ 2.50 for each 100 Full Tilt Points accumulated, in addition to having access to the Diamond Edge Shop".
If you keep the Black Card status for 100 days, you will receive a, literally, Black Card at your house , which will ID you at the Full Tilt Poker live events.
But that's not all. As a Black Card you can fight for a Black Card Pro sponsorship program.
Every six months (the first period began today, July 1 and ends on December 31), the best positioned player in the Black Card rankings will receive a Black Card Pro sponsorship contract of 6 months. The advantages of the contract?
- 100% cashback during the 6 months of the contract;
- $20,000 in tickets to the FTOPS and/or MiniFTOPS or a prize money of $20,000 to be released.
- Double of Full Tilt Points during the six months (provided you keep the Black Card status and points, being that aditional points do not count towards the daily average of required points).
"Players have been eagerly awaiting the return of the Black Card, and we are delighted to bring it back - we're particularly excited to see the talent that will come with the new Pro Black Card sponsorship program," said Sarne Lightman, Director of Marketing at Full Tilt Poker. "Rewarding players is at the core of what we do, and with the reintroduction of the Black Card our most loyal players can have even more benefits."
