Anthony Gregg is the winner of Event # 47: One Drop High Roller No-Limit Hold'em.
Gregg didn't allow Antonio Esfandiari to repeat his triumph, after Esfandiari's victory in the Big One for One Drop last year. Still, "The Magician" has scored a 4th place and a prize of $ 1,433,438, which has allowed him to increase his lead in the historical classification of live tournament cashes - thus, he has surpassed the milestone of $25 million (nearly 6 times more than his rival, the british Samuel Trickett).
After winning the heads-up against Chris Klodnicki, Gregg has guaranteed (in addition to the gold bracelet) a first prize of $4,830,619.
These were the prizes that the players of the final table were awarded:
- Anthony Gregg: $4,830,619.
- Chris Klodnicki: $2,985,495.
- William Perkins: $1,965,163.
- Antonio Esfandiari: $1,433,438.
- Richard Fullerton: $1,066,491.
- Martin Jacobson: $807,427.
- Brandon Steven: $621,180.
- Nick Schulman: $485,029.
On the other hand, it's also very important to note that the One Drop High Roller event has raised over half a million dollars, money that'll be funneled into the One Drop Foundation, whose mission is to provide drinking water to those populations that don't have access to it.
