WPT and EPT scheduling conflict

The two events that close the seasons of the greatest circuits in the poker world (European Poker Tour Grand Final and World Poker Tour World Championship) will happpen on overlapping days this year. The Main Event of the Grand Final begins April 26, and that same day the final table of the World Championship will be played.

Jackie Glazier triumphs at first WSOPE Ladies Event

The australian player began the second and final day of the World Series Of Poker Europe Ladies Event leading the way, and she remained like that until the very end, winning the first WSOPE bracelet ever for a Ladies Event. In addition to the bracelet Jackie Glazier also received €21,850 in prize money.

The Grand Connaught Rooms opened its doors to welcome the London leg of the PokerStars European Poker Tour - there were 10 days of intense poker with several events, culminating with the victory of Robin 'robinho' Ylitalo at the Main Event, with a £560.980 prize.

The final table of the first £50,000 Super High Roller of the PokerStars sponsored European Poker Tour London ended as it began, with Martin Finger leading the way. The young German was the big winner in the first edition of this tournament in London, and received a first prize of £821,000 ($1,319,593) .

The first £50,000 Super High Roller in the history of the PokerStars EPT London will be finished later tonight, with the dispute of the final table . This final table will count with the presence of Martin Finger, Patrik Antonius, Johannes Strassmann, Bill Perkins, David Benefield, Christoph Vogelsang, Timothy Adams and Tobias Reinkemeier.

WPT Main Event will have $10 million guaranteed

This August the Seminole Hard Rock hosted a $5,300 tournament with $10 million guaranteed; with over 2,384 entries the prizepool ammounted to $11,920,000. Now the casino management wants to repeat the feat, but this time the tournament is no more or less than the Main Event of the World Poker Tour.
