Viktor Blom in 2013: Back at square one

01 October 2025

2013 has been quite a ride for Viktor Blom - the Full Tilt Poker "Professional" managed to reach an annual profit over $5 million at FTP's tables, but he's right back at square one.

Early autumn hasn't been kind for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom; if not for the $280,337 he earned yesterday he would have a negative balance right now.

As Autumn arrives, Isildur1 is feeling the chill of the Full Tilt Poker high stakes tables. In September, Isildur1's bad luck was only surpassed by Sebastian "Seb86" Sabic's luck.

Taking a look at the graph below, concerning only the year of 2013, we can see that Isildur1 had its peak in July, where he reached the $5 millions profit milestone; but all that went away between the months of August and September - Blom only managed to avoid dropping to negative numbers because yesterday he won $ 280,337.

Yesterday Blom was at the $100/$200 2-7 TD tables and, later, at the $50/$100 and $200/$400 PLO tables.

At these tables he managed to scrape enough to challenge "punting-peddler" to play at the 8-Game tables - it was here that he had an astounding performance. At one point he was earning more than $400,000 but his opponent was able to recover some of his lost money.
