Titan.fr became the latest operator in the iPoker.fr network to pull out its online poker offer on French territory. Players are requested to withdrawal their funds until the end of the month as they won’t be able to do so after the first of August.
This is the second website on the ipoker.fr network to close their operations in the French market. Before Titan.fr, Iliad’s chilipoker.fr ceased operations and completed the transaction of brother company TurboPoker.fr to Itechsoft.
These are clearly tough days to iPoker.fr in the French online gambling market, the high taxes imposed by the French government on online gambling also don’t make it any easier to turn traffic up and make the network competitive with the major rooms PokerStars.fr and Winamax.fr.
