Kaju85 joins the high stakes Poker Elite

09 April 2025

Kakwan Lau, best known for all the fans as "Kaju85" has shine during last week at the high stakes tables of PokerStars.com. He was the 6. º player who has won more money playing online cash during the last week: $ 142,891 in 1,328 hands.

"Kaju85" does not require many presentations. H’s been around for many years playing on the Net at high levels. Last year was the first Spanish man to achieve Supernova Elite status and is poised to repeat this feat. For nosebleed levels in 2013 "Kaju" takes $ 189,490 earned in 11,143 hands.

Apart from "Kaju85", the biggest winner last week was Ike Haxton "luvtheWNBA". The U.S. player, which by nick should be a big fan of feminine basketball, has won $ 509,387 playing only 3311 hands, so we figure he turned on “God Mode”.

Also in "God Mode" must have been Kyle Ray "KPR16" who, after a disastrous run last week managed to finish in positive, $ 369,474, yes, playing just 473 hands. Ray seems to have rediscovered the old tactics of the sting. Thanks to his performance, has made over a million dollars in revenue in 2013 and took the 7th position, just behind the following players:

  •     Alexander Kostritsyn: $ 3842.936.
  •     Ben Tollerene: $ +2,569,075.
  •     Viktor Blom: $ +2,149,416.
  •     Phil Galfond: $ +1,903,471.
  •     Patrik Antonius: $ +1,508,789.
  •     Kyle Hendon: $ +1,156,610.
After Kyle Ray, in 8th place, comes the biggest winner of PokerStars.com, which is none other than the mysterious barcode player, "1ìl | 1ìl | 1yl |", with overall benefits of $ 986,728 (of who's won $ 138,214 last week).

This is the top 10 winners in the high stakes Full Tilt and PokerStars.com 1 to April 7, 2013:

As for the losers, the biggest donor of the week was the increasingly erratic "Isildur1". The Swede has palmed $ 774,054, which made him lose the 2nd place in the annual ranking of winners. Blom should be happy, if we look at the balance of 2013 alone. However, upswings and downswings his tremendous should not have him very quiet. I believe that never in the history of poker has been a player who had to deal with such sequences of positive and negative swings.

Behind him, and as usual, are in the list of gardeners, Gus Hansen. The "Great Dane" has “sprayed” the tables, leaving $ 317,247 so far in April. Gustav is the biggest loser of the year, and away from their immediate pursuers. This is the annual ranking of high stakes donors:

  •     Gus Hansen: $ 2,769,458.
  •     Ben Sulsky: $ 2,046,218.
  •     Phil Ivey: $ 1,604,501.
  •     "Patpatpanda" $ 1,330,885.
  •     Scott Seiver: $ 1,220,399.
  •     "Punting-peddler": $ 1,099,064.

The week has been particularly bad for some regular nosebleed levels, as Sebastien Sabic ($ 250,026), Phil Ivey ($ 164,000), both in Full Tilt Poker-, or Ben Sulsky ($ 149,981) or Ignat Liviu ( $ 116,031) on PokerStars.com.
