Interstate gaming in consideration by Nevada lawmakers

10 Jannuary 2013

Online poker is currently authorized within the state of Nevada but need federal approval to share player pool with other states.

The new Nevada lawmakers proposal erases the need for a federal approval and give the Governor full autonomy to authorize interstate online gambling.

One immediate potential partner for Nevada is Delaware that regulated online poker since last year and another potential candidate is New Jersey that recently passed a new Bill to legalize online poker.

California is a state where the online poker community is big, however the online poker approval by the government will require a lot of struggling against the opposing voices that don’t approve the game in this state.

Apart from all this, fuss, and way ahead in the process, Nevada expects to see the first regulated online poker room in the state officially launched in the spring 2013.
